OAKVILLE CRIMINAL LAWYER SCHOLARSHIP — RULES AND REGULATIONS

  • The submitted essay must be the original work of the contestant. Any attempts of plagiarism will result in the participant immediate disqualification.
  • Participants may not contact the judges for any reason. Doing so will result in participants immediate disqualification from this contest.
  • Any decisions of the judges are unquestionable and conclusive.
  • Any essay that fails to meet the specified requirements or is sent after the submission deadline will be disqualified.
  • By accepting the prize, winners grant OakvilleCriminalLawyer.ca the right to freely use their essay in connection with this contest, and to use their names as well as personal information in promotional materials, except where it is illegal.
  • org will make every reasonable attempt to read and judge every contributed essay, but it will not be responsible for failure to read and/or judge an essay.
  • ny prize a participant has won in the competition can be immediately revoked if it is discovered that the participant has broken any of the rules.
  • Under no circumstances will OakvilleCriminalLawyer.ca be liable to the participant for any indirect, punitive, special or consequential damages.
  • If the number of submissions exceeds expectations, OakvilleCriminalLawyer.ca may change the submission deadline to an earlier date. Those interested in participating in the contest should try to submit their essays as early as possible.
  • In the event that OakvilleCriminalLawyer.ca is forced to change or alter some or all of these rules, they will notify the contestants via email. These changes will henceforth be considered read and accepted. If the participants find the changes unacceptable, they may withdraw from this essay contest.
  • All federal, state, local and other taxes and charges on prizes will be paid by the participant.
    • All submissions become a property of OakvilleCriminalLawyer.ca, to use, reproduce, or distribute as it sees fit in its sole discretion.
